FDA OKs tissue-sealing shears from Microline

The FDA has given Microline Surgical 510(k) clearance to market its Flexible Ligating Shears, which is used to aid surgeons in making incisions and closing soft tissue. The device comes with a flexible cable for easier surgical access and is used in conjunction with TransEnterix's SPIDER Surgical Platform, designed for minimally invasive procedures.
