Fewer than 8% of breast cancer survivors meet activity guidelines

U.S. researchers tracked 631 breast cancer survivors and found that fewer than 8% of them managed to comply with the national physical activity guidelines throughout the entire study period. The number of women who met the exercise recommendations reached 39.5% at five years, but dropped to 21.4% at 10 years, according to the study in the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention.
