President Barack Obama's angry speech reacting to the failure of gun-control legislation in the Senate was based mostly on accurate facts and figures, although he did occasionally rely on out-of-date empirical studies. The NRA didn't come off so well, issuing statements that misrepresented the proposed legislation and earning a "mostly false" rating.
