House passes cybersecurity bill despite privacy concerns

The House, in a 288-127 bipartisan vote, has approved the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act, which would develop a framework for sharing cyberthreat information between companies and the government. Representatives approved the legislation despite concern that the government could get more access to consumers' private information. Whether the Senate will consider the measure is uncertain.
