Report: Boy Scouts will vote on ending gay ban

The Boy Scouts of America board will vote in May on a proposed policy that would end a longstanding ban on gay Scouts. The decision to put forward the policy change was reached after months of surveys, research and discussion within the organization, said spokesman Deron Smith. The policy would apply to Scouts, but not to adult Scout leaders.
