Syrian refugee numbers could reach "incomprehensible" levels

The Syrian conflict is creating so many refugees that "[w]e will have half the population of Syria in dire need of assistance and this is incomprehensible," says Antonio Guterres, the United Nations high commissioner for refugees. Meanwhile, refugee camps are starting to look like cities as residents open shops and services.
