BBDO to handle U.S. duties for BBC news channel

Omnicom Group's BBDO, New York, will create the campaign for the U.S. launch of BBC World News' 24-hour news channel. The shop will develop an integrated campaign with Interpublic Group's Weber Shandwick, which is handling public relations, and WPP Group's Mediaedge:cia, which is doing media planning and buying.
