Oregon high court rules that medical marijuana is grounds for firing

Companies can fire employees for using medical marijuana even if the employee has a prescription, according to a decision by the Oregon Supreme Court. Companies can maintain an anti-marijuana policy because the state law that decriminalizes possession, growth and distribution of the drug does not override federal law, the court ruled.
