Panasonic increases production of 3-D plasma TVs 30%

Panasonic, one of the first CE companies to sell 3-D television sets, said that the market demand had been so good that it would increase production. "We've had a very strong reaction," said Panasonic's Hirotoshi Uehara. "Our plasma panel factory is at full capacity, but we've increased 3-D panel production by 30% compared to our original plan."
