Kan. airport to replace aging roof atop passenger terminal

The Metropolitan Topeka Airport Authority in Topeka, Kan., plans to replace the roof above the Forbes Field passenger air terminal, since its protective roof membrane has been torn in many areas. The facility's roof replacement project also includes replacement of several skylights and installation of new window panels and is expected to cost about $300,000.
