Stormy weather a boon to roofing companies

Heavy rainfall in Ohio caused extensive damage to area roofs, and brought business to local roofing companies. "Over the last couple weeks, our backlog of work has probably doubled from all the rain," said Dave Molloy, president of Molloy Roofing. Meanwhile, the hailstorm in La Crosse, Wis., has bolstered demand for new roofs and has led Ledegar Roofing to hire another employee to be able to deliver bid requests to customers, said Dan Koonce, company president.
