Breast cancer survivor helps hospital improve patient care

Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, Va., became a Designated Planetree Patient-Centered Hospital to emphasize it's philosophy of patient-centered care. Breast cancer survivor Elizabeth Mullen has helped the hospital consider experiences from the patient's perspective; she remarked that chemotherapy registration would be easier in the infusion center, and it became policy.
