Contract forbids law firm's employees from fighting DOMA

A contract between Congress and the law firm of King & Spalding forbids the firm's employees from advocating for a repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act, according to this article. King & Spalding partner Paul Clement has been retained to defend DOMA on behalf of Congress in federal court. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi questioned the contract, which sets Clement's hourly rate at $520.
