ACC urges U.S. Supreme Court to assess EPA's GHG policies

The U.S. Supreme Court needs to review the Environmental Protection Agency's greenhouse-gas regulations, according to a coalition of business groups that include the American Chemistry Council. "Quite simply, the rules are fundamentally flawed, as they are based on EPA's attempt to use the [Clean Air Act's Prevention of Significant Deterioration] program to regulate greenhouse gases at industrial facilities despite the fact that GHGs are not criteria pollutants with established National Ambient Air Quality Standards," ACC said.
