Could Louisiana follow Arkansas' lead?

Louisiana lawmakers will begin consideration of whether to expand eligibility under the state's Medicaid program this week. The House Health and Welfare panel will weigh the topic in a hearing Wednesday. Gov. Bobby Jindal has rejected the idea, but there is some talk of following the lead of Arkansas, which is embracing a hybrid approach that involves using public money to buy private coverage.
