Research shows that searches conducted on mobile phones and tablets are more likely to occur later in the purchasing process than searches on laptops or PCs. Seventy-eight percent of mobile-phone searches resulted in purchases, compared to 59% of laptop searches. Businesses can take advantage of their customers' search behaviors by keeping their listings updated, providing driving directions and setting up a click-to-call button.
