DIRECTV and DISH Network are among the multichannel video providers who have wrung the most value out of using promotional offers, including discounts, according to a report from Parks Associates, which says the campaigns have proved successful in luring back former subscribers. "Most people leave pay-TV services due to economic factors, and these are the main influencers bringing them back," said Parks analyst John Barrett.
