The Senate wants to empower states to collect taxes on Internet purchases with its Marketplace Fairness Act, but some senators from no-sales-tax states are against it, and the House of Representatives might be a tougher sell, Brendan Sasso writes. "While it attempts to make tax collection simpler, it still has a long way to go," House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte says.
