Almost 50% of U.S. youths lack patient-centered medical homes

Data from the 2007 National Survey of Children's Health showed that 46% of 10- to 17-year-olds lacked a past-year medical home. Rates were lower among minorities, poor and uninsured children, according to the report published in the journal Academic Pediatrics.
