Ban: Ending poverty, hunger is "at the heart" of MDGs

Ending poverty and hunger in the world is "at the heart of our efforts to build the future we want" through the Millennium Development Goals, says United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. Separately, on Saturday, a committee of The World Bank and International Monetary Fund endorsed the bank's program to reduce poverty levels by 2030.
