Boomers with advisers are more confident about retirement

Baby boomers who utilize a financial adviser for retirement planning are considerably more confident about retirement finances than those who handle preparation by themselves, according to a survey by the Insured Retirement Institute. Among boomers using an adviser, 48% are "very" or "extremely" confident about retirement, compared with 28% of those who don't work with an adviser, the survey found.
