Boston radio helps lead healing for community

Boston radio stations last week provided an important connection for listeners seeking information about the manhunt for the Boston Marathon bombing suspects, and they also took steps to help the community move forward. Entercom's WEEI last weekend handed out thousands of "Boston Strong" signs at Fenway Park, while Greater Media's WKLB and its local siblings have contributed $8,000 to the One Fund Boston. Today, all Boston radio outlets will observe a moment of silence at 2:50 p.m., which is when the two bombs exploded last Monday near the marathon's finish line.
