Calif. foreclosure-relief program is set to accelerate

Officials with Keep Your Home California, a $2 billion foreclosure-relief program, say they are beginning to make headway now that banks, with support from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, have agreed to use the money for principal reductions. In its first three years, the program spent only about a sixth of its available funding.
