Creative funding partnerships put nurses in Mich. schools

Michigan has the lowest ratio of school nurses to children in the U.S., and creative funding partnerships are being pursued to address the need. A $1 million effort in Calhoun County funds school nurses through a program that includes school districts, the county health department and organizations such as the Kellogg Foundation and United Way.
