Group plans installation of low-cost Wi-Fi in England's schools

Following the installation of fibre optic technology to 2,000 schools in London, England, the London Grid for Learning now is set to offer those schools Wi-Fi service and Voice over IP technology. Officials say the technology, which allows schools to provide Wi-Fi service at a lower cost, could save schools as much as £100 million annually.
