Latin America takes the spotlight for franchise growth

Franchisors are increasingly eying countries in Latin America for expansion. Dunkin' Donuts, Denny's and Focus Brands International are among the companies that have already found success in the region by finding franchisees who live in and are familiar with the tastes and business environment of Latin America. "We look for partners that have capital, have access to real estate, understand the business and understand the business model of the franchise," Focus Brands Chief Operating Officer John Reale said.
