Minn. light rail line uses wind power to mark Earth Day

To celebrate Earth Day, Minneapolis' Metro Transit used electricity generated by wind turbines in rural Minnesota to power the state's Hiawatha Light Rail line on Monday. Metro Transit bought enough wind-generated energy from Xcel Energy's Windsource program to power the 12-mile line for one day.
