N.J. needs $70B to address water, power, transportation needs

New Jersey needs to spend $70 billion on its deteriorating transportation, power and water infrastructure, according to a report by Facing our Future, a group of former state officials. The state also needs to find new ways "to fund necessary infrastructure investment that will fuel economic success." Raphael Caprio, a member of Facing our Future and professor at Rutgers said, "The report is grounded in the critical assumption that you can't have credible economic development and job growth without the necessary infrastructure."
