Pa. middle-school students learn how to save lives

Middle-school students at a Pennsylvania district recently received lifesaving training from the American Heart Association. The training focused on how to administer CPR and other care if a person goes into cardiac arrest. Joseph Laskowski, AHA community CPR manager, taught students how to perform chest compressions, calling for help and checking for responsiveness, enough to help increase a stricken person's chances of survival.
