Streaming services appeal to wealthy, Nielsen finds

More than 1 in 3 U.S. households with streaming video service subscriptions have incomes of $100,000 or more, with people in that income bracket 85% more likely to subscribe than the general population, Nielsen has found. Households with earnings between $50,000 and $100,000 represent 43% of streaming subscribers and are 15% more apt to have such a service than the general population.
