Survey: 52% of employees lack knowledge of wellness programs

A survey showed 52% of workers whose companies offer wellness programs admit they are only somewhat or not at all knowledgeable about them. The Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Co. report found the lack of knowledge to be highest for younger, less-educated workers, and assistant vice president Steve Bygott said good employee communication is needed for long-term employee engagement in wellness initiatives.
