Survey: 52% of employees lack knowledge of wellness programs

A survey found that 52% of workers whose employers provide wellness programs admit having only some knowledge of the program, or none at all. The Colonial Life & Accident Insurance report found the lack of knowledge to be greatest for younger, less-educated workers, and Colonial's Steve Bygott says good employee communication is needed for long-term employee engagement in wellness initiatives.
