USPSTF: Data lacking on screening for suicide risk

An analysis reported in a draft recommendation from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force revealed a lack of evidence to assess the benefits of suicide screening in a primary care population. Researchers also noted the screening tools were less effective among adolescents than adults. The report appears in the Annals of Internal Medicine.
