Nutrisystem will sell five-day Jumpstart weight-loss kits at 2,000 Wal-Mart stores. "Under our new leadership, we have shifted our focus to weight-loss kits rather than competing in the overcrowded and heavily discounted maintenance space in the grocery aisles," says a rep for the company, which plans to heavily promote the deal. Nutrisystem, as revenue has declined, has worked with Costco and Kroger on various alternatives to the typically home-delivered program.
