Wash. high-school science teacher chosen Teacher of the Year

A high-school science teacher from Zillah, Wash., has been selected as the 2013 National Teacher of the Year and is expected to visit the White House today. Jeff Charbonneau, who teaches chemistry, physics and engineering, launched the statewide Zillah Robot Challenge and is credited with encouraging students to continue their education beyond high school.
