ASPS: Demand grows for lifts and minimally invasive procedures

Despite advances in plastic surgery that allow in-office cosmetic procedures and reduce recovery time, patients continue to choose minimally invasive procedures that offer a temporary solution, according to figures from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. However, demand for surgical lifts has risen, probably driven by higher rates of bariatric surgery, says plastic surgeon and ASPS President Malcolm Roth.
