Mass. Senate candidate supports medical device tax repeal

Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren took a stance against the proposed 2.3% medical device excise tax, joining the push for its repeal. The tax would force medtech firms, which account for 12% of exports in Massachusetts and are responsible for 24,000 jobs in the state, to "cut back on research and development for life-saving products," she wrote.
