Aer Lingus aims to fly short-haul trips for bigger carriers

Aer Lingus is looking to provide short-haul service for major European airlines that want to stop flying unprofitable European routes and fill long-haul planes at airports such as London Heathrow and Amsterdam Schiphol. So far, the carrier has deals with Virgin Atlantic and Nova, and it expects the demand for wet leasing to increase.
