Bill on stop-loss insurance clears Colo. House

A proposal that would limit small employers' access to stop-loss insurance has cleared the Colorado House. The legislation would set the coverage's minimum specific attachment points at $20,000 for self-insured companies with 50 or fewer employees. The bill also would not allow varying attachment points for individuals who are part of an insured group.
