Colo. county on target to produce most of state's oil output

Weld County, Colo., again is on target to have nearly 80% of the state's oil production this year, observers said. Colorado produced about 49 million barrels of oil in 2012, with nearly 75% of the figure coming from the county. "Weld appears it will become the new dominant center of oil production in the state," said Pete Stark, an IHS analyst.
