Fired anchor wishes he didn't trip over his "freaking shoes"

A.J. Clemente, the new weekend anchor at NBC affiliate KFYR in Bismarck, N.D., made a memorable debut Sunday when he opened his first newscast by uttering two expletives. The station issued an apology for Clemente's outburst and then proceeded to fire him, according to a tweet from him. "Rookie mistake," Clemente tweeted. "I'm a free agent. Can't help but laugh at myself and stay positive. Wish I didn't trip over my 'freaking shoes' out of the gate."
