Foodborne-illness risk is highest with ground beef, chicken

Research from the Center for Science in the Public Interest finds ground beef and chicken are the meats responsible for the most food-related hospitalizations, while chicken nuggets, ham and sausage are linked to the fewest hospitalizations. The study, which looked at 33,000 food-related illnesses, also found "high risk" associated with turkey and steak.
