GOP bill to redistribute ACA funds faces veto threat

A Republican bill that would provide a temporary program with billions of dollars to help uninsured people with pre-existing conditions would be vetoed, the White House says. Money from a public health fund, which the government plans to use in promoting the new insurance markets, would be redirected by the measure. The public health fund would be effectively revoked by the bill, the White House said.
