Using a formula that focuses on factors such as brand loyalty and product spending, social media marketing company Syncapse has determined that each Facebook fan is worth an average of $174.17. Businesses can make the most of Facebook by observing their customers' behavior, experimenting with new techniques and finding a way to link their marketing efforts to business performance, according to Michael Scissons, Syncapse's chief executive.
