India's international schools recruit foreign teachers

International schools in India draw teachers from the US, China, the United Kingdom, Australia and elsewhere. While there can be challenges in hiring from outside of the country, most educators arrive familiar with the International Baccalaureate curriculum -- helping to ease the transition. However officials say they often have to offer attractive contracts to recruit qualified and experienced foreign teachers.
