Lawmakers call for immediate action on medical device tax

Reps. Erik Paulsen, R-Minn., and Ron Kind, D-Wis., are pressing for prompt action to repeal the 2.3% medical device tax, which they say is already having unintended effects on innovation and job growth. "When 79 senators vote in support of repealing the medical-device tax as a part of the budget resolution, it is clear that Congress wants to put an end to this policy. The urgency is real, and it's time to act," they write.
