Lessons learned from schools' adoption of Chromebooks

Educators in two school districts that have begun using Google Chromebooks in the classroom say they have learned several lessons from the use of the devices. Among them are that the devices are low-cost, easy to use and simple to maintain, but they require seamless wireless access to be used effectively. David Fringer, director of information systems at the Council Bluffs School District in Iowa, suggests planning, publicizing plans and starting small, among other tips.
