Low-carb trend is "not dead at all"

In a survey by the Natural Marketing Institute, about half of American adults say they have consumed low-carb food or drinks in the past year, indicating the trend is "not dead at all," Managing Partner Steve French says. "That's a move into consumers understanding more about the types of grains in terms of sustained energy and single versus complex carbs," French said.
