Most North American residents back Keystone XL, survey finds

TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline is favored by a majority of U.S. and Canadian residents, a survey by Nanos Research determined. The benefits from projects that would help North America secure a stable supply of energy outweigh emissions-reduction concerns, most of the respondents indicated. "The American public has a fixation on ensuring a stable supply of energy," said Nik Nanos, the polling organization's president.
