New Fujifilm cell banking facility commissioned in the U.K.

Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies' new cGMP mammalian cell banking facility in the U.K. has started operations. "I am delighted that we have commissioned the cell bank facility within a year of its commencement, and have already started work on our first customer program," FDB U.K. managing director Steve Bagshaw said. The firm plans to commission another cGMP plant at the site toward the end of the year.
